The Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Museum is located at No. 1, Nanmen Street, Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. It was established in 1956 and was one of the first science and technology museums in the country at that time. The current Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Museum covers an area of 21,000 square meters and was officially opened to the public in early 2004. 

The Science Museum of Shandong Province has fully leveraged its own advantages and, based on its own platform, has adopted a comprehensive approach involving on-site science popularization, mobile science popularization, digital science popularization, and resource construction, to establish and develop a modern science museum system.
