
LED point light sources are miniature point-shaped decorative lamps centered on light-emitting diodes. They are widely used in building lighting and landscape illumination. They adopt solid-state lighting technology and have the advantages of low power consumption (single light source power ranging from 0.3 to 2W), long lifespan (more than 50,000 hours), high luminous efficiency, and environmental friendliness without mercury. Through DMX512 protocol or serial control, each point can be independently addressed, supporting 256 levels of gray scale and full-color RGB mixing, achieving dynamic effects such as flowing, gradient, flickering, and graphic animations. The shells are mostly made of PC or aluminum alloy, with a protection level of IP65 or above, strong weather resistance, and suitable for outdoor harsh environments. They are mainly applied to outlining building contours, bridge guardrail decoration, advertising sign production, stage background, and indoor atmosphere embellishment. As a supplement to linear light sources and floodlighting, the point array combination can also form large-area display screens. Combined with intelligent control systems, it can be connected to the Internet of Things to achieve remote dimming and scene linkage, meeting the needs of smart cities. Its miniaturization, easy installation, and high reliability have enabled it to gradually replace traditional neon lights and occupy an important position in modern night lighting.
